The best Jira integration in the market just became better! We’ve added Epic Link and Team field types to the field mapping options. Now even more information will be synchronized between the systems giving you better visibility and control over your Issues and Requirements. -
A centralized hub for all your tests - Automated BDD test support
Using automated BDD? Report your BDD test results (no matter which tool you use) to PractiTest via the REST API to centralize your entire testing operation and all your test types into PractiTest.

Improved API - Get auto filters is now available
With this improvement, you can now use the GET command to get the results of an auto filter in any entity. This can be done on the 2 levels of auto filters as explained here

The new navigation bar is now available for all users!
The first phase of PractiTest new UI is now available for all users. Feeling the joy? Missing anything? We’d love to hear your feedback via our support team. -
BDD support for manual tests
Behavior-driven development (BDD) tests enable collaboration between teams in software projects. As the first step of enabling a complete BDD workflow, we launched a new BDD test type, which will become available in the next few days. With the new BDD test type, you can use the Gherkin syntax in the Scenario field and PractiTest will break the test into steps according to Gherkin keywords. In the future, PractiTest will also support automatic BDD test results. You can read more about it here

ClickUp Integration Improvement
Reporting a task to ClickUp? Importing a task as a PractiTest requirement? From now on your PractiTest user and your ClickUp user will be connected so every action you take is recorded under your name. This process will happen automatically the first time you trigger the integration after your account owner has reconfigured it. For more information please read here

ClickUp integration enhancement - map and sync fields
The PractiTest ClickUp integration just became better! From now on you can choose the fields in ClickUp you want to sync to PractiTest and map them to PractiTest fields. This will allow you to edit the fields in any of the systems - and see the update in the other system. Read more about it here

Create a Test Set based on Requirements
PractiTest is introducing an easy way to build the execution of your requirements. From now on you can create a Test Set based on a requirement, and all the tests linked to this requirement will be automatically added to the Test Set as test instances. You can read more about it here

Control user permissions with increased granularity
Enable team members to comment on PractiTest entities by giving them the new “Comments” permission level. You can find it in the Project Settings.

Copy steps to test
Working on a test and want to add a step from somewhere else? We added the option to copy a step into a test from the same test or from a different test.

Clickup integration enhancements
Working with Clickup? PractiTest just took this integration to the next level! From now on, you can link existing ClickUp tasks as issues to your PractiTest runs, sync an existing task from ClickUp as a new issue or requirement in PractiTest and more! Read more about it here.
- Jira integration enhancements
- Map more field types from Jira to PractiTest: Map your Sprint field to PractiTest so you can see and edit this important information on both sides and make sure your entire data is aligned.
- 2 way attachments sync between PractiTest and Jira cloud - When syncing or linking issues or requirements from Jira to PractiTest or reporting issues from PractiTest to Jira, the attachments from one side will be synced to the other. This feature is being released gradually.

View the status of linked Issues
In the Instance and Run windows, when you have a linked issue, you will now see this issue’s status. This can help you better understand your instance and run status and work faster.
- End of Eggplant integration support
From 2023, the built-in Eggplant integration will no longer be supported. Eggplant could still be integrated to PractiTest using the robust REST API or PractiTest internal automation framework - the xBot.

Jira cloud comments two-way sync
Ensure seamless internal communication by syncing Jira comments to PractiTest and PractiTest comments to Jira (Currently available for Jira Cloud only). This feature is being released gradually. Read more about it here.

Comment on a step
To improve communication and efficiency, you can now comment on each step in a manual scripted test in the Test Library. Like any other comments section in PractiTest, you can tag people using the ‘@’, edit your comment and delete it. This can be used as part of an internal reviewal process.

Test Set feedback implementation
As we moved to the New Test Set screen, we implemented users’ feedback in order to improve functionality and usability. We are constantly looking to improve and invite you to use the new test set and share your feedback with us. -

Organize your data dynamically and automatically - Additional field types supported in Auto filters
Using an auto filter, you can create automatic sub-filters for every value of your list type field. From now on, the auto filter can be applied also on linked list fields and multi-list fields. With the improved auto filters, you can slice and dice your data automatically based on any parameter that is important to you.

Test Set new layout and instances grid
Check out the new Test Set layout and instances grid, now available by default to all users. The new Test Set enables faster work and improved functionality such as multiple filters, and more.

PractiTest plugin for Jira support
From January 2023, old versions of the PractiTest plugin for Jira (below 3.0), will no longer be supported.
