So, what is the verdict?

Both PractiTest and QMetry are powerful test management tools that offer great coverage for your QA process.

PractiTest Hierarchical filter tree is a major advantage as it makes the basic data organization and navigation more intuitive. This classification methodology exists for all testing modules: Requirements, Tests, Test Sets & Runs and Issues, and with traceability links in between. This will provide you with a better workflow with PractiTest, than QMetry.

QMetry is a part infoStretch Corporation, which its advantages and shortcomings. You know that the company is not going to disappear anytime soon, and you can choose a complete suite of solutions, have AD/LDAP support etc., but on the other hand, your tool is not their main focus.

While both solutions offer methodological support, we found PractiTest had a faster response time in general for all support matters. One nice feature that QMetry doesn’t offer is External dashboards. This useful for sharing customized project progress with management, as well as with clients via a direct external link to relevant graphs and reports or by embedding them anywhere.
