Our Story
Back in 2008, when SaaS was considered avant-garde, 3 young entrepreneurs (one of them a QA thought leader) decided to push the test management world to the future. They built PractiTest to become a centralized solution for all testing efforts – residing in the cloud only. To make their solution valuable and safe – they keep investing in security, innovation, integrations with external tools and more.

In PractiTest we made several technology choices in order to be as scalable as possible, to make sure our development process is fast and efficient and the security, privacy and reliability of information is always kept. Joel Montvelisky
CEO
Joel is PractiTest’s CEO and Co-Founder.
Joel has been in QA since 1997, working as a tester, QA Manager, Director, and a Consultant for companies in Israel, the US and the EU. Joel is a Forbes Technology council member, a public speaker, a blogger, Chair of the OnlineTestConf, and he is the co-founder of the State of Testing™ report.
He holds a B.Sc. in industrial engineering and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
Yaniv Iny
COO
Yaniv Iny is PractiTest COO and Co-founder.
Prior to founding PractiTest, Yaniv was the Co-founder of Cahoots, which raised more than $50M from leading VCs including Vertex, Nea, and others. He was a consultant in one of Israel’s top management consulting firms. Among other roles, Yaniv was also the CTO of Progroup, a subsidiary of Israel Yellow pages.
He holds a B.sc. with honors in computer science and Economics and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
Stas Krichevsky
CTO
Stas is PractiTest CTO and Co-founder.
Stas has been in software development over the last 25 years. He has served as a software engineer, a software architect, chief architect, VP Engineering, Head of data science innovation and CTO. He attended Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics.
Noa Segol
VP Marketing & Strategy
Noa is PractiTest VP of Marketing and Strategy.
Prior to joining PractiTest she worked as a marketing manager and director in various Startup companies as well as a global corporate. Noa is the OnlineTestConf co-founder and a Marketing lecturer in Academic and business environments.
She holds a MA in Psychology from Tel Aviv academic college and an MBA from Tel Aviv university.
Tali Barak
Head of HR
Tali Barak is the Head of Human Resources at PractiTest. She has over 20 years of experience specializing in HR management.
Prior to joining PractiTest, Tali held positions in HR management at a number of hi-tech startups including BIScience and Emblaze as well as corporations like Bezeq International and Strauss Group, with other roles in organizational, management and career consulting. Tali holds a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and a Master’s (MSC) in Organizational Behavior.
