Freeman is a leading provider of integrated services for marketing events, including trade shows, conventions, corporate events and exhibits. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas and with 40 offices in North America, Freeman produces more than 3,000 expositions annually, including 48% of the largest 250 U.S. trade shows, and more than 10,000 other events worldwide.

Freeman’s Story

Stephen Musal, Freeman’s eCommerce QA Lead, selected PractiTest after evaluating other hosted testing solutions. Stephen’s decision was influenced not only by PractiTest’s ease of use and straight forward administration, but was also heavily weighted by the tool’s scalability, flexible reporting and cost. In addition, the ability to easily migrate from Freeman’s previous testing solution provided the team with minimal downtime during the migration.
Following the successful deployment of PractiTest at Freeman, the team decided to introduce Freeman’s offshore QA team to the PractiTest solution. Using the same PractiTest system, the US based Freeman QA team can now conduct shared projects with the offshore team, which allows everyone to have real-time visibility of testing and bug status.
Since implementing PractiTest, Stephen is quick to point out that the simplicity of the tool has allowed the team to improve the coordination of defects and minimize duplication of effort. Another benefit is the ability to easily trace test cases back to the project’s requirements from within PractiTest. Stephen says "The connection between bugs, test cases, and requirements has enabled us to quickly assess the importance of each bug to the overall project.
