H.S. PractiTest is a privately-held company, founded with the clear vision to bring an Innovative QA and R&D management platform, that is easy and affordable, yet very powerful, flexible, scalable, methodological and end-to-end.

July 2009 – Requirements module out in production, PractiTest now covers the end-to-end ALM cycle.
June 2009 – Server infrastructure shifted to Amazon EC2.
January 2009 – Tests module released to Production.
November 2008 – Initial release of Tests Design and Test Run modules.
September 2008 – Issues and Reporting modules released to production.
June 2008 – First Beta customer, Issues module only.
January 2008 – After months of designing and planning, full development had began.
Fall 2007 – Core team reunites and start talking / thinking about PractiTest.
Summer 1999 – Core team works together for first time in Cahoots.

Yaniv Iny, Operations
With vast experience in development management on multiple Start-Ups and Mid-size companies, Yaniv brings the perspective of the VP R&D looking for a more efficient and methodological way to manage QA teams. Yaniv’s focus is both on the technology aspects of the application as well as on its usefulness, regardless of their background, expertise or browser denomination.
Prior to establishing PractiTest, Yaniv Co-founded Cahoots (total investments of over $40M); and served as the CTO of Progroup and Hikkup. Yaniv was also a strategic Consultant in P.O.C. , a Management Consulting firm.
Stas Krichevsky, Technology
The technological arm of PractiTest. In addition to architecting the leading-edge technology foundations of PractiTest, Stas also provides fresh insights into the latest trends of the Web-Based and Open Source development Communities, making sure the PractiTest is in line with all the latest requirements from this demanding sector.
Stas served as System Architect in Kontera, VP Engineering in TVdoTV, Chief Architect at Entopia Inc, Chief Architect in Cahoots.
Joel Montvelisky, Product
With over 12 years experience working with hundreds of companies worldwide, Joel is driving force behind PractiTest’s Methodology and Product Design.
Having managed the QA of multiple companies and products, including Mercury’s TestDirector/QualityCenter, Joel brings with him the experience of deploying tools and methodologies in some of the most demanding and varied environments in the Industry.
Joel is an active member of the Israeli Testing Certification Board, he publishes articles on online and printed QA Publications, serves as a QA Instructor in various colleges and institutions, and also writes weekly blog articles on QA and Testing methodologies at http://qablog.practitest.com
Joel holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Tel Aviv University, and MBA from Recanati Business School of Tel Aviv University, Israel.
